Todd English Food Hall NYC
We went to The Todd English Food Hall in the basement of the Plaza in New York. It was amazing, one of my favorite restaurants. So many choices on the menu. Not easy to make a decision. We wanted arugula pizza but it wasn't on the menu. However, if you ask nicely maybe they can make it for you. They made it for us! We also ordered the chicken ginger dumplings, but they were better when we had them over the summer. We also ordered the mushroom miso -- I was expecting all noodles but it was more like a soup. I didn't like it. I wouldn't get it next time I go but I wanted to try something new. We also had an Asian salad with grilled chicken and it had a little kick. My sister had some of the best pasta we ever had -- it was Pappardelle Pomodoro pasta with whipped ricotta, tomato, basil, and toasted garlic. It was so good that I kept taking some from my sister's bowl and uh-oh, she got so mad at me. My dad ordered the chicken and ginger tacos with a lemongrass pesto, whoa it was pretty spicy. We got to watch them cook some of the food, which was pretty cool. You can click here to see the menu (but no arugula pizza is on it!).
For dessert, we had Lady M chocolate banana mille feuille cake -- twenty layers of deliciousness. Twenty layers of chocolate crepes filled with chocolate banana creme.
